Studio Rental

You will have access to the entire 2.000 Sq Ft space for your private needs at your convenience. You can have your private or group lesson for up to 80 people. Enjoy using high-level  speakers, large mirrors, air conditioning, etc…

Rental calendar

Select the appointment type and the date of your rental and hit “Search”. Each booking is for one hour. For multiple hours, repeat the search and make one request per hour.

Please contact us if you don’t find availability on the day you are looking for.

Some level of insurance is required to rent the studio based on your activity:

  • Personal Liability Insurance for “Private Rehearsals”
  • Instructor Liability Insurance for “Workshops”
  • Event Liability Insurance for “Large Events/Socials

Absence of insurance will lead to cancellation of your rental and cancellation fees applied.

  • A minimum of 50% of the total rental fee is due at reservation and considered as deposit. The deposit will be refundable up to one week before the scheduled rental. If you cancel less than 7 days before your scheduled rental, the deposit will not be refunded. If you paid the total rental fee at reservation, the other 50% will be refunded to you regardless when you cancel.
  • Cancellation policies are subject to adjustments if no-shows become too frequent.
  • If Rumba y Timbal decides to close the studio for any reason (incl. extreme weather), there will be no cancellation fee and 100% of the pre-payment will be refunded.

Private Rehearsals are defined as groups or individuals rehearsing and instructors are NOT compensated in any way for the rehearsals

For pricing purposes, private non-dance related events without entrance fees will be considered “private rehearsals”.

Workshops are defined as groups of 3 or more using the studio for activities where instructors ARE compensated.

Workshops up to 3 consecutive hours of rental will be charged $65/h on Saturdays 6-11pm and $50/h at other times. 

Workshops that are 4 or more consecutive hours of rental will be charged $75/h on Saturdays 6-11pm and $60/h at other times. 

Large Events/Socials are defined as any dance or other event (private or open to the public) with an entrance fee.

On Saturdays 6-11pm, “Large Events/Socials” will be $150/h for the first 2 hours and $100/h for additional hours.
